Progressive Care
The 20-bed Progressive Care Unit is located on the second floor and provides an intermediate level of care to patients age sixteen and older. Nursing staff provide high-quality care using modern technology to patients requiring treatment of pulmonary, cardiac, neurovascular, and renal diseases; telemetry monitoring; ventilator management; post-cardiac interventional procedure management; treatment with antiarrhythmic and vasoactive medications; and recovery from complex surgical procedures including coronary artery bypass grafting and valve replacement.
Intensive Care
The 10-bed Intensive Care Unit is located on the first floor of the hospital. Specially-trained staff provide high-quality care to all critically ill patients ages sixteen and older. The latest technology (including hemodynamic monitoring, intra-aortic balloon pump, pacemakers, and mechanical ventilation) is available to treat patients requiring intensive management of complex cardiac, pulmonary, renal, neurovascular, and surgical conditions including coronary artery bypass grafting and valve replacement.
