Emergency Department
As if any emergency department isn’t exciting enough, we are growing, expanding, and flourishing here at JMH. We have embarked on a state-of-the-art new 34-bed emergency department, which opened on June 13, 2006. The ER includes private rooms, four-to-one patient to nurse ratios with non-urgent patients, and two-to-one patient to nurse ratios for trauma patients. We have a well-polished teamwork approach that involves nurses, doctors, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, nursing assistants, certified nursing assistants, paramedics, unit clerks, customer service reps, and respiratory therapists.
Our new ED focuses on a hometown environment, a family atmosphere, customer service, abundant resources, privacy, security, flexible self-scheduling, and the best care around. We would love to serve you in any way we can!
